Faculty Expertise and Achievement
Dr. Riccardi has published in the areas of international financial reporting, focusing on the impact of IFRS adoption, and auditing, with a focus on both the international audit market and how regulatory changes and economic uncertainty can impact audit outcomes. His research has been published in high-quality journals such as Contemporary Accounting Research and Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, among others. He is currently involved in the development of data analytics educational cases.
Research Interests
He employs archival research methods in the areas of auditing and financial reporting. Their current research explores the influence of auditors' and audit firms' various political activities on audit outcomes and regulatory enforcement. More recently, he has been developing educational cases in data analytics.
