Rockefeller Student Philanthropists Award $10K to Unity House of Troy
After a semester-long project, Associate Professor Susan Appe’s Spring 2024 Private Philanthropy, Public Problems and Power undergraduate students awarded $10,000 to the nonprofit Unity House in Troy, N.Y. The class also distributed $250 each to Planned Parenthood in Troy, N.Y. and Jazzy Sun Birthdays in Albany, N.Y.

Public Policy and International Affairs Program (PPIA) Public Service Weekend
Rockefeller College is hosting a PPIA Public Service Weekend September 20-22 for undergraduate sophomores through recent graduates with an interest in public policy and working in the public sector. PPIA Public Service Weekend will introduce students to a wide variety of professions and sectors in a concise three-day conference format. During this time, students will hear from panels of policy professionals, participate in networking opportunities, and more! Apply by July 14th.

Ana Jeranashvili, an international student from Tbilisi, Georgia and double major in criminal justice and homeland security, is this year’s School of Criminal Justice valedictorian. Ana plans to pursue master's degree in security studies after graduation.
