Access Tutoring Anytime, Anywhere 

UAlbany undergraduate students have free access to Brainfuse, an online tutoring service available 24/7. This resource allows students to connect with a live tutor for subject-specific assistance or submit writing assignments to the Writing Lab for feedback.

Online tutoring services supplement STEM tutoring, peer tutoring, and departmental tutoring available on campus. Each student has access to 16 hours of Brainfuse Online Tutoring per semester.

Students are strongly encouraged to use peer tutoring support first to maximize in-person and scheduled resources before relying on limited Brainfuse hours.

Sign into Brainfuse

Use these instructions to access Brainfuse: 

  1. Sign into Brainfuse using your UAlbany Net ID and password. 

  2. Select either the Live Help or the Writing Lab.
