Plan a Field Trip to Showcase Day
UAlbany invites Capital Region schools to attend its third annual Showcase Day. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, on our Uptown Campus.
The school group registration form and deadline will be posted here as soon as the information becomes available.
UAlbany Showcase highlights and celebrates student excellence through displays and exhibitions of undergraduate and graduate research, scholarship, creative endeavors and applied and experiential learning.
Your school group will be able to attend poster fairs, oral presentations, demonstrations, panel discussions, recitals, art exhibitions and performances. During these events, you can interact with UAlbany students and ask questions about their work.
“Having a dedicated student guide was fantastic. It made navigating campus so much easier!”
“For some of our students it was the first time on a college campus and that in itself was invaluable.”
Navigating Showcase
Each school group will be assigned a Showcase Ambassador who will help you get around campus and identify activities of interest.
Additionally, chaperones can use an app to explore presentations, select those you’re most interested in attending and interact with other attendees.
Instructions for arrival and parking, and information about dining options for school groups, will be shared here as soon as those details are available.
Backpacks and large tote bags are prohibited in Showcase venues.
All participants must adhere to the University’s Prohibited Items & Activities during Events policy. This policy includes a prohibition on weapons, as well as tobacco and smoking products.
- Schools must provide adult chaperones for their students, with a ratio of 10 or fewer students per chaperone, as required by New York State education law.
