Course Materials & Bookstore

1. Open your class schedule. You’ll be prompted to sign in using your UAlbany NetID and password.
2. Select the correct term.
3. Click “View/Buy Books.”
4. A list of required and recommended books for each of your classes will appear in a new window. Make your selections and add them to your cart.  
5. When you’re ready to check out, create an account or check out as a guest. If you create an account, you will be able to return and view your order. If you are renting a textbook, you will be required to enter a credit card to secure the rental.
6. You will receive an email confirming your order has been placed. Later, you will receive a second email notifying you that your order has shipped or is ready for pickup.

Important Bookstore Dates

• September 3, 2024: Last day for a full refund with a receipt and in original condition
• September 10, 2024: Last day to change a rental to a purchase
• September 24, 2024: Last day for a full refund with a receipt, proof of drop and in original condition

When you rent textbooks, the bookstore will give you a return deadline.

Returns must be postmarked or dropped off in the bookstore by that deadline, or you will be charged a late fee and/or replacement fee.

To return your rentals via mail, use your order number (available in the email you received when you ordered or picked up your rental) to print a UPS shipping label.
