The Office of Data Analysis & Space Management supports strategic level planning decisions by executive leadership. Charged with ensuring the efficient and effective allocation of finite University space, we embrace leading edge technologies to track and analyze the University’s built environment.
 

Objectives

  • Strategic Resource Allocation: Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes in support of the University's academic mission and campus development goals.
  • Maximizing the use of available technology: Applying GIS to data visualization, field work, surveys, and the integration of other enterprise systems.
  • Data Management: Tracking location-based features, including property boundaries, site utilities, amenities, space assignments and usage. Maintaining campus maps and building floor plans.
  • Continuous Improvement in Space Management: Establish a framework for continuous improvement by regularly evaluating and adapting space management practices.
