Lecture Center - Electrical Shutdown

Work Alert Notification

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work alert. As part of the Lecture Center project, we need to perform a brief electrical power shutdown in the south-east quadrant of the Lecture Center.  The work is occurring in the Uptown Campus, Lecture Center. This work is necessary to support the Lecture Center Renovation project.

Work is expected to begin on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 6:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 7:00 AM.

Electrical shutdown to prep. for a future electrical shutdown for panel/feeder replacements

Potential Impacts on Surrounding Areas:

During this electrical power shutdown, there will be no power in the south-east quadrant of the Lecture Center.  It will impact LC-13, LC-15, LC-18, LC-19, LC-20 and the corridors in the sub-basement and basement levels.
