ITB - Door Operator Replacement

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised that essential repair work will be conducted at the ITB building on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, to replace the main entrance handicap operator. During this time, the main entrance will be inaccessible, and a detour will be in place.
To access the building during this period, please use the side entrance along Great Dane Drive.

Work Schedule:
Start: Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 7:00 AM
Completion: Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 3:30 PM

Critical Work Description or Scope:

We will be changing the handicap door operator on ITB main entrance. To help us get this done in a timely manner we are shutting down the entrance and asking building occupants to use the side entrance of the building while the work is being completed.

Potential Impacts on Surrounding Areas:

  • Change in access / egress-X-Use side entrance of building along Great Dane Drive while this work is being completed.
