Kids Domain: Holidays
This award-winning site for elementary students offers a growing collection of learning activities and information about the history and traditions surrounding more than two-dozen yearly holidays, including Hanukkah, Christmas, Ramadan and Kwanza

Kids Farm
Young children will enjoy this great site. Kids Farm is very "kid" friendly. Brightly colored icons help to navigate even the youngest child from the "Where do you want to go?" screen. Children can choose from the following categories to explore: Farm Animals, Wild Animals, What Grows, Kids Rodeo, Equipment, Where Are We?, and People. You can also send a scanned photo of your pet to have included in their "Guest Stars" section. This is a great way to allow children to explore different animals, through stories and video clips.

Kids on the Web
Children write stories and post them for everyone to read. Kids on the Web has been in the top 50 great sites for kids and parents from the American Library Association.

KidsClick
KidsClick! is a giant search engine for kids where all the sites have been selected by experience librarians. Search by keyword, letter, or topic. The topics are organized into 15 categories. In addition to the usual subjects (math, science and literature), there are several categories appealing to kids: weird and mysterious machines and transportation, sports and recreation, and home and household, which features such relevant subjects as pets and baby-sitting. A innovative, kid friendly feature of KidsClick! is that results can be sorted by reading level. Browers can also indicate home many pictures to include in links, so that computers with slower capacity will not crash. A super place to begin any Web-based research with students.

Kindergarten - Lifelong Kindergarten
The Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab aims to re-invent learning and education in a digital society. We develop new technologies that, in the spirit of the blocks and fingerpaint of kindergarten, expand the range of what people design and create -- and what they learn in the process. Our ultimate goal is a world of playfully creative people, who are constantly inventing new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

Kulture Zone
Since 1999, the mission of Kulture Zone has been pretty simple ... to provide a fun, unique, and resourceful Web site for parents, educators, children and Internet enthusiast. Kulture zones specializes in graphics that represent people of color.
